Binding Agreement and Scope
By accessing, registering, or using the Green Jobs platform (the "Platform"), you enter into a legally binding contract with Green Jobs Ghana ("the Company"). If you do not agree to these terms, you must cease all use of the Platform immediately. These terms are governed by the Electronic Transactions Act, 2008 (Act 772) of the Republic of Ghana.
Zero-Tolerance Fraud Policy
Green Jobs maintains a strictly monitored environment.
- Prohibited Fees: It is a material breach of these terms for any Employer to request payment from a Talent for "processing fees," "medical checks," "uniforms," or "registration."
- Reporting: Any user found soliciting money in exchange for job placement will have their account terminated immediately and their details forwarded to the Cybercrime Unit of the Ghana Police Service (GPS).
- Verification: While we implement security protocols, the Company does not guarantee the identity of any user. Users engage at their own risk.
Employer Obligations & Mandatory Compliance
All Employers using the Platform warrant and represent that:
- Legitimacy: They are a registered business entity in Ghana or a recognized international body.
- Labor Laws: All job postings and hiring practices shall strictly adhere to the Labour Act, 2003 (Act 651), specifically regarding non-discrimination on the basis of gender, race, religion, or disability.
- Data Handling: Employers are "Data Controllers" under the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843). You agree to protect Talent CVs and contact information with the highest level of encryption and confidentiality.
Talent (Job Seeker) Warranties Talents agree that:
- Veracity: All academic credentials, past employment records, and certifications provided are authentic. Misrepresentation constitutes fraud.
- Non-Exclusivity: Green Jobs is a facilitator; we do not guarantee interviews, placements, or specific salary outcomes.
Limitation of Liability & Indemnification To the maximum extent permitted by Ghanaian law:
- No Agency: Green Jobs is not an employer, headhunter, or agent. We are a hosting platform only.
- Exclusion of Damages: The Company shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential loss arising from "ghosting," fraudulent job offers, or the conduct of users during physical interviews.
- Indemnity: You agree to indemnify Green Jobs against any legal claims or costs arising from your breach of these terms or your violation of any third-party rights.
Intellectual Property
All content, logos, "Green Jobs" branding, and site architecture are the exclusive property of the Company. Unauthorized "scraping" or harvesting of job seeker data via automated bots is strictly prohibited and will be prosecuted.
Dispute Resolution
Any dispute arising from these terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through Mediation in Accra. Failing a resolution within 30 days, the dispute shall be referred to the exclusive jurisdiction of the High Court of Ghana.
